| To avoid confusion the term UK STANDARD relates
to the generally accepted line classes as shown on most UK boat rods.
Such rods may well state IGFA ##lbs however as a general rule they are considerably lighter than genuine, bluewater IGFA line class rods. The table below gives a rough comparison between UK rods and IGFA rods. It is intended only as a guide as IGFA have no regulations relating to the power of a rod and every manufacturer can decide for themselves, confusing aint it. |

| By utilising the above table you can see that to get the power of an IGFA 30lb rod you would have to use a UK standard 50 - 80lb rod. | ||||||||||||||||||

ANY OF THE TWO PIECE RODS CAN BE CONVERTED FROM SPIGOT JOINT TO TWO PIECE CARBON REEL SEAT FOR AN ADDITIONAL £8.00. ROD LIVERY IS AT YOUR DISCRETION BUT IF NO PREFERENCE THREAD WRAPS ARE TEAL BLUE WITH GOLD HIGHLIGHTS. THE 50 & 80LB RODS ARE UNDERWRAPPED IN TEAL BLUE AND OVERWRAPPED IN BLACK WITH GOLD HIGHLIGHTS.

ON THE SPECIALIST AND UP-TIDE RODS THE CHOICE IS YOURS FOR DUPLON GRIPS OR SHRINK WRAPPED BUTTS AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. REEL SEAT POSITION IS ALSO AT YOUR DISCRETION OR THE ALTERNATE OF A UK MADE " TALON " REEL SEAT TO ALLOW YOU TO ADJUST SEAT POSITION AT AN ADDITIONAL COST OF £12.00. UNLESS REQUESTED OTHERWISE THE ROD LIVERY IS DEEP, RICH MAROON WITH GOLD HIGHLIGHTS. OPTIONAL CUSTOMISING EXTRAS ARE AVAILABLE ON ANY OF THE ABOVE RODS, SUCH AS FEATURE BUTT WINDS, UNDERWRAPS, CONTACT FOR QUOTE. All prices quoted are plus carriage of £8.00 on UK mainland.
