Saltwater spinner: Carbon composite blank
made in UK. 2 section, 10ft overall length with overfit joint,
3lb test curve. Fuji graphite reel seat in black with full cork
handle, (full length duplon grips can be used if preferred)
S.I.C, 3 leg cradle guides, underwrapped and overwrapped in
royal blue with gold highlights. Built for multiplier (conventional)
or fixed spool use. Rod livery can be altered at no additional

Heavy duty saltwater spinner: Build specification
as above but using a powerful, 6lb test curve blank capable
of medium sized tuna, tarpon, smaller billfish, small to medium

Very light tip action with reserve of power in lower sections.
A rod for the light tackle enthusiast. Spigot joint with low

Tope rod, 20lb: Build specification as the
12lb rod but with a more powerful tip for heavier leads.

Blue Shark rod: IGFA 20lb. A fast taper,
glass / carbon composite blank, a lot of tip action with a
good reserve of power in the lower section. 7ft 6inch, with
two piece carbon reel seat set fairly low on the butt, (actual
position to your choice) with an extended foregrip. Fuji CWDBSG
guides throughout making it a great compormise for braid,
mono or dacron. Fuji carbon gimbal and rubber gimbal cap.

Pirking rod: 7ft 6inch in length with two
piece carbon reel seat. UK standard 30lb rod using fast taper,
tip action blank. Reel seat set lower than normal (app 14inches
from butt) with extended foregrip. Zircon HD guides, under
& overwrapped in livery of your choice. Fuji butt cap.

| SALTWATER FLY: |
As a general rule the saltwater environment places considerably
more demands on a fly rod than freshwater. Added to this is
the immense power and speed of many of the species likely
to be encountered and the larger flies and lures used. To
address these varying demands the range of Alba altwater fly
rods are built on multi-strain, graphite blanks manufactured
in UK for the purpose which provide a fast tip action with
the ability to cast long lines using large flies yet with
inherrent power in the butt sections to subdue the hardest
fighting game fish. All the rods are fitted with oversize
American pattern snake guides with S.I.C. stripper guides.
The 6 / 7 / 8 weight rods have extended fighting butts whilst
the 9 - 12 weight rods have extended fighting butts and forward
fighting grips. Rods are built using Struble uplocking saltwater
reel seats. (Titanium seats can be used at additional cost
but are not suited to reels with stainless steel feet).
As an alternative to Struble reel seats and new for
2006, UK manufactured, heavy anodised alloy saltwater
seats can be used. These seats also feature laser engraved
fish logos, bonefish, permit, salmon, trout, tarpon
(not shown)

Depending on line weight the rods are 3 or four section.
4 section rods are built on blue blanks with rod livery at
your discretion. 3 section 12# rod is built on a black blank.
The 12 weight rod shown below is underwrapped in copper and
overwrapped in black with a Fuji carbon seat and Fuji stand-off
line guides as per clients preference.
